Meaghan & Chris
“The moment you smiled I saw your soul in me
it was like a star soaked in sunshine”
Meaghan and Chris were such an awesome couple. They contacted me just two months out from their wedding date. Thankfully, they picked the one Saturday I had free that month!! We met up a few weeks before their wedding at my "official meeting" spot Bat Country at The Spot in Randwick, to go over the deets and of course, have a wine or two. It was love at first meeting. Haha! For me, anyway. I just knew it was going to be the best day. I could see that their love for each other was so genuine and fun, and I was really pumped to be able to have the opportunity to capture it.
They honestly made my job easy. I love the relaxed, fun friendship they have. They were so keen to celebrate their love for each other and have a bloody great party. And the way that Chris looks at Meagan. All the heart eyes!!! My kind of couple.
Meaghan got ready at a little Air BnB in Annandale (ahhhhmazing). Chris and the guys got ready at their old stomping ground - The Old Clare Hotel, Chippendale (sooooooo fricken rad). Their ceremony was at Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney, and you really can't go wrong there. We cruised around the gardens for some portraits, walked over to the Opera house to have a drink at Bennelong and watch the sun slowly disappear. Then we made our way to The Three Williams Cafe in Redfern, where they ravished everyone with all the good things in life, delicious food, fantastic wine and beer that makes you feel really good — I'm drooling right now. Please take me back.
Thanks so much for having me, Meaghan and Chris. You guys were the bomb!
Love the one, and only EH
